# Itinerary DB API

One-way, exact-date fare observations. This service does not search an airline. No current fare or booking availability is guaranteed.

Every offer has a source and observation timestamp. Search responses include `complete` and per-source coverage. Empty search, source error, stale observation, and unobserved route are distinct states. Prices are the observed total for the requested adult party in minor currency units. Optional baggage and seats may not be included. Use a fresh supplier check before promising a bookable price.
Synthetic offers are marked `synthetic: true`, carry no booking link, and are never airline quotes. The synthetic path has zero billable usage and is enabled only for test environments.
